EU ETS CCA CRC Voluntary Carbon Accounting

Will carbon reduction legislation affect my organisation?

In the UK, there are three legislated schemes:

  • CRC or CRCEES Carbon Reduction Commitment Energy Efficiency Scheme
  • CCA Climate Change Agreement
  • EUETS European Union Emission Trading Scheme

If you do not meet the criteria for any of these schemes, you can submit your records on a voluntary basis. Use the Carbon Guerrilla Carbon Compliance Flow Chart to determine which scheme applies to your organisation.
